The problem with the film is that it pulls away the curtain to reveal the true face of British politics, the image that isn't supposed to exist, because our society isn't like that. It's free and democratic, and the press/media are fair and unbiased. Western liberal democracy, as a model, has out-lived its usefulness and we're moving into another era another model. The strong state, the national security state that's always at war somewhere and opposition is tantamount to treason.
