3million YouTube subscribers. I don't know how the monetisation of your eyeball time works but apart from individual views there is some multiplying gain from having subscribers. Hence many vids have a please subscribe request during the performance. I'm sure the reward per subscriber is diminishing over time but it's not a zero sum. There are legions of people who want to hear only a certain perspective and are not interested in hearing that science is equivocal. Their attention pays cash. https://www.quora.com/If-you-have-3-million-subscribers-how-much-money-do-you-get I've given up an academic career quite a long time ago because of the petty corruption. I used to peer review papers. It's hard to remember and there are other science philosophy paradigms, but any scientist has to be honest and formally work through all the ways the null hypothesis could actually be the right answer....ie there is no difference between the batches. The absence of that balance is an alarm. Apart from the petty corruption there is the formal corruption of the corporate science industry which works in the same way on an industrial scale. It's a challenge to have to interpret all novel clinical information as potentially maybe even probably a lie, but there you go. cheers, dan
