Have we all gone mad?" I had this discussion a while back with a "right-on" liberal acquaintance when I said the problem with Idpol selection and reserved "quotas" in the SNP was competence... Personaly I wouldn't care if the whole show was run by blacks, lesbians nor the disabled as long as they were actually competent to do the job. Ah but you see... they can't gain that competence apparently because the (white) "Patriarchy" are keeping them out... Interestingly, most of the Feminist / Disabled / Black / Gender-queer characters promoted in the SNP were there not because they even represented these sectors of society but merely because they were self-seeking usefully supine individuals easy for Sturgeon to manipulate...Indeed one of the "chosen" representatives rejected by a party democratic vote suddenly got a "Disability reserved" position because he "discovered" he had Tourettes Syndrome: seriously...fuwk'em.
