It's all so predictable and rather sad in equal measure. It reminds one of WW1, where the 'left' supported the war and helped send millions of their own marching towards the great slaughterhouse, apparently because freedom was threatened. I think the 'left' should pack it in and forget about reforming the system. It's too late for that. This packed train has no reverse geara and no brakes. I think we'll race ahead regardless as a society, until we run out of track. |
