"Meanwhile you chose to ignore the outcome that left could've led us out the that neocon war-mongering mess that EU has proved to be. The emphasis being on 'what if?'." On that there is no "could have" nor a "what if?". There was never any chance that you were going to get out of a neoliberal "neocon warmongering mess" by surrendering all power to that exemplar and promoter par excellence of neoliberal neocon warmongering which is the British State. On predicting this you may recall I did so repeatedly on this very site. Which is indeed why today the UK is not only the biggest supplier in Europe of military aid & arms to Ukraine, but its actual Prime minister himself deliberately destroyed the chance of peace and was responsible for egging Ukraine into the war in the first place. Of course this suited the UK because after Brexit the only part of UK manufacturing likely to prosper was the guns n' bombs sector: superannuated by huge government development subsidies and export guarantees it was the last part of UK manufacturing that the finance orientated UK Raj still "invested" in...as I also pointed out. Unfortunately the "showcase" war intended to highlight British military hardware hasnt quite worked out as evil Ivan quite unfairly decided to leave the mighty Brit tanks & guns burning on the fields of Ukraine. But never mind... missiles a go-go eh what?
