We're inside a form of 'cultural revolution' which cuts across many of the old language, attitudes, loyalties and symbols we used to think were important. In politics this is especially true of 'left' and 'right'. Brand goes from being seen as extreme, unhinged, left, over to rightwing demagogue in few short months. The Labour Party makes the lurch from 'radical left' and emerges as yet another, but saner, Tory Party.
