Only a few years ago, this kind of grotesque behavior, Canadia politians lauding a member the NAZI Waffen SS, because he fought the Russians, would have been unthinkable and frightening. In Germany too, things are slipping and sliding. There seems to be a shift, a 'campaign' to rehabilitate aspects of the Third Reich, the 'bravery' of the military, the positive facets of their nationalism, and Stalin, on balance, was worse than Hitler!
