Nikki Haley, former presidential candidate turned Trump endorser, spent Memorial Day not commemorating fallen American servicemembers but visiting Israel as it conducts a brutal massacre in Gaza.

On Monday, Haley posted pictures from a visit to southern Israel, where she met with survivors from Hamas’s attack on October 7. Haley told reporters that the United States “needs to do whatever Israel needs and stop telling them how to fight this war.”

She also traveled to Israel’s northern border with a member of the Israeli Knesset, Danny Dannon, who posted pictures to his own X account on Tuesday with the text “Finish them!” The post also included a picture of Haley signing Israeli artillery shells with the message: “Finish them! America loves Israel!”...

After all, their's no difference factualy in what's going down...therefore the difference is in the reportage and evaluation.

I find it astonishing that a random perusal of " You-tube" even now would leave you in no doubt that Ukraine was actually winning this war.

-To me that's astonishing...to others it's apparently true.

.. as Lavrov put it, of how Ukr is to implode.

Mercouris has stressed today that Putin's comments in Tashkent today make it clear that the only legitimate authority at the mo in Ukr is Rada (their Parliament) in legal terms, according to Ukr constitution. The clown Ze is only spinning his wheels as an illegit dictator. Basically, it's over.

I wish I could believe that...but I have a terrible sense that they will try something horribly dangerous before this is all over.

Our political class are sad-sacks...observing UK and European leaders is much the same as watching Tony and David's obsequious show in front of CJ in Reggie Perrin where every idiocy uttered by the US can only be "Super!"..."Great!" or both.

At every failure they have doubled down and lost...to the extent that it's become a pattern which appears to predispose them to repeat it again and again...and this at the very moment in time when we need leaders capable of independent thought with an ability to assess dangers commensurately.

-This lot of gutless wonders just can't do that, which is quite something considering the actual lack of any ideological difference to justify their extremist reactions to Russia.

I worry too, a bit. Meanwhile, the Empire is not totally stupid, I mean, look at the 20 year long Afghanistan venture. I think they'll just leave Ukr imbroglio and get on with Taiwan venture, leaving Baltic chiwawas + Poland to get on with it. Water off the duck's back hehe .. leaving aside of what BRICS etc will do in the meantime.
