Israel states that it is preparing for strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities

The Israeli Air Force is preparing to strike Iran's nuclear facilities after disabling Syria's air defense systems, The Times of Israel informs.

According to reports, the Israeli Defense Forces believe that after the weakening of Iranian proxy groups in the Middle East and the dramatic collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria, there is now an opportunity to strike Iran's nuclear facilities.

As a result, the Israeli Air Force continues to ramp up preparations for potential strikes on such targets.

It is noted that over 85% of Syria's air defense systems were destroyed during recent strikes, giving Israeli aircraft and drones complete air superiority.

The Israeli military also believes that with Iran isolated following Assad's regime collapse and the weakening of its main proxy group, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran may continue its nuclear program and develop a bomb, attempting to replace its nuclear deterrence...

I don't understand why Iran hasn't hit all zionazi runways and mossad headquarters already to cripple their constant mass-murdering abilities. It's not as if they don't have enough fcking missiles. What are they waiting for? For Trump to have a change of heart and make some type of imperial crumbs from the table deal?

Like you, I consider this to be a moral issue. However, Iran has a different perspective also echoing our moral concerns imo, it needs to win, tactically as well as strategically. As I understand it from Marandi's interview 5 thread above, there is a military escalation ongoing and Iran is keeping it's powder dry and inviting Israel to make a foolish aggressive move. Perhaps Israel's current hubris will be the driver to make this mistake. The proof will be in the pudding, so let's wait and see.

I hope you're right regarding Israeli hubris. Their tails are up and they must feel pretty invincible now that they've snatched victory from the jaws of defeat on multiple fronts. I don't agree that Iran should keep its powder dry though. The time to hit the apartheid state was months ago...look at all the damage they've done since and they won't stop until the get the big prize, a Greater Israel, as insane as that sounds. Unfortunately I can't see them slipping up but I've been wrong before...like almost everyone else I never expected the fall of Syria. They could over-reach too quick, too soon, inshallah.

The yanks and Zios are already bringing about a new Sykes-Picot by the looks of it, with a balkanised ME full of waring ethno-states unless Turkey can bring it's neo-Ottoman fantasy to fruition. Can't see Iran offering significant resistance now unless they're directly attacked. It's a shame Mirandi didn't predict the fall of Syria instead of confidently declaring Israel's strategic defeat

I don't think anyone predicted Syrian state demise. It was a black swan event. Meanwhile Israel's strategic defeat, to my mind, is still on the cards. Overstretched militarily and challenged demographically/economically. I'll put a fiver on that
