That's a revealing clip...I know from watching it a few times before, that Sackur's absolute faith in these intelligence spooks and his almost outrage that anyone should doubt a word they say, shows how far down the dishonest rabbit hole he is.
He so badly wanted to sideline what the real job of a real journalist should be and Iraq, even suggesting that Iraq was not evidence of any deception! Glad Greenwald didn't let that lie.

Got to laugh when he says the spooks are singing from the same hymn sheet "on both sides of the Atlantic"...as if this makes his case stronger when in fact it makes it very much weaker!

Sackur was the worst (best?) example of a smug and complacent BBC staffer who exists in a totally artificial universe. In that sense he isn't a "liar" because he is sincere in his warped and deluded worldview. Greenwald exposed this in 2 or 3 minutes without much effort. In the longer interview try and keep count how many times he uses the words "independent", "impartial", "truth" as a kind of mantra and bragging about not having any opinions. Odd the beeb should fire him when he's the perfect role model for their kind of "journalist-interviewer."
