I doubt the tangerine twat has studied Nixon/Haldeman's playbook too closely but I'm sure someone like Miller would have.

Either way, it hasn't worked or at least most commentators haven't considered it as a tactic, but have quoted it as proof of his mental decline (inadvertently buying into it), but the desired pay off ("look out, he's nuts, he'll do anything, we better do what he says") hasn't got anywhere near the main narrative so it failed generally.

Perhaps you are correct about Miller's guidance. It would have fallen on fertile orange twat's ground. Except it is the interpretation of the Barbarian leader in chief i.e. since he was frustrated like a like a 2 year old, he delivers his message in meaningless vulgar terms scaring western public.

Perhaps it could be used as an excuse to dress him up in clothes with buttons at the back by the US elite under 25th Amendment. Can't wait for November ..
