Way to go guys, We used to deliberately target Soles at night in the UK, used to use 1/0 long shanked hooks and marine worm (Lug worm and Rag worm) for bait on a running ledger. By catch was Flounder, Turbot and Plaice and Cod. Always at night though. As for Flounder, i've caught them at the mouth of the Tuki Tuki on big garden worm on an ordinary size 8 hook and light gear during the day. I used to love fishing for all sorts of flat fish, they have such delicate bites, though they are quite aggressive feeders. they love small crabs and worms. In the mangrove harbours up north I hear they will take a fly too. Hey, tight lines, maybe see you on the beach some day, Philip
