I was caught on a supposed random inspection about three years ago.The only thing I wasn't doing right was batteries.I used to let travellers take them,not acceptable,must get a waste transfer note from authorised waste carrier.Also stored them outside on a pallet,also not acceptable,must be in a bulding or waterproof container.Can and do transport them myself to waste station,maximum six batteries in vehicle.Only follow up was a mild letter,no further checks.
