They should just combine the G league, and the NIL type high earner players. Keep the rest of college basketball how it used To be. Allow players who can make their coin make their coin, and the fans can still enjoy the competition of college basketball. Maybe the G league teams are affiliated with a few schools, so kids can still get a college degree while playing for said G league team. But as it stands all this is killing college basketball/sports. Or maybe some type of life skills classes with a two year G league requirement before being able to Go full Pro. Idk. Just seems like there is a better solution out there than what currently exists. I don’t think they realize the damage they are doing to College Athletics. |
