MAR. I wish that were true. As I recall Roy Williams had phony classes set up at North Carolina that the athletes never attended and got credit for. This was discovered yet the NCAA never held he or the school accountable for it.
This past football season the coach of Penn State was asked at a football game about an alleged sexual misconduct situation by a player. He did not deny it, only said no comment. The situation was never mentioned again.
The power conference schools are not held accountable unless someone is on a witch hunt against a school. Otherwise all is covered up.
They do however go after schools in other conferences, often chastising them for minor infractions just to hold them down. There will be no equity with the NCAA in charge.
