$23 million entrance fee for football only in the MAC. Plus no sharing of revenue and paying visiting teams travel. I’ve been following this unfold. Poster Mar can jump in on this as he seems to have followed this very closely. The university president is zealously trying to use football (and men’s basketball) for recognition. His twin brother seems to be a local influencer and strive to be developer. Months ago they were touting a $50 million NIL which seems to now be in question. They came out with a rendition of a new on campus stadium which has disappeared. Then sharing an uncommitted soccer stadium with a local soccer club. Now they are looking at playing at Cal Expo.
All of this dream in a time where the future of FBS football doesn’t appear to be sustainable with the exception of some of the Big Ten and SEC.
Hope the CSU system will not be financially responsible if and when things go sideways

The biggest problem at LBSU is a lack of money. A lot is already committed to the Student Union rebuild. Over the past ten years money should have been allocated to repair the Myd. It appears it was not. Only bandaid measures were used.
We cannot expect the new President to magically take care of everything either ignored or dumbed down by the past president.
A number of big big donors are needed at this time. We will see what happens.
