What I normally do is put my 4 nebs in a pot of water and set the timer for 20 minutes. Afterwards, I remove and place on 2 paper towels to air dry. This has worked for me but with the severe drought in Atlanta, last week I decided to change it up to save some water. I bought a baby bottle sterilizer that holds 6 bottles. With 7 oz of water and 5 minutes in the microwave, I thought this would be a good trick. But, I realize now that I need to scrub them before the sterilizing step because there was still salt on nebs after the sterilization. This would not save any water and it just adds another step to my boil water process.... so I'm back to my original method. Oh well - please do a rain dance when you have a moment. :o) |
