I wrote recently about starting my toddler on GSH. It was all going quite well for a while, but then he began to refuse the GSH-Curc (mixed with juice). I ordered some liposomal GSH, as recommended by Michael, which I though might be easier because it is liquid. It has been much easier to get him to take it.
However, I have some questions about the dose and the pros/cons of different types of GSH.
The recommended dose on the bottle of liposomal GSH is much smaller than that recommended by Dr Bishop, and it suggests taking it only in the mornings, not every 3-4 hours. Is there something about the liposomal GSH which makes it more easily absorbed (as the makers claim), which makes a smaller dose adequate? Does it hang around in the body for more than 4 hours? Or should I go with the protocol suggested by Dr Bishop?
Once in the morning is obviously much easier!
Also, the liposomal GSH does not seem to contain NAC or vitamin C, which I thought was needed to go with the GSH. Does this matter?
Most people seem to use Theranaturals, but I'm not sure why this is.
If anyone has any info on this, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
