Well, I'm not ashamed to admit it. I like Kansas quite a bit(their 70's output, that is). I don't see them as derivative, I think they added their own unique flavor to their influences. In the 80's they seemed to turn into a christian/power pop act, and I lost interest.

I've heard the first Starcastle album. I don't love it, but I don't think it's horrible either. But I certainly won't argue with any of the "Yes clone" criticism.
