TGIF!

Does you dog bring you anything, (such as a ball, leash, etc.?) or does he/she wait for you to get the item?

For months Krypto would show us where his leash was when asked, but he rarely brought it to us. At least he would show us where it was, but we picked it up to put it on him.

Then, recently, when his leash hit the floor, and Dh told him to bring it to him, he did. Now, we toss it in various places, and tell him to get it before a walk. He picks it up carefully, and brings it. He's really acting proud of himself. Of course, we've made a big fuss, which he loves. 'Will work for praise/pets', definitely. He's a plus-plus dog (positive training.) for sure.

He always brings balls to us, or his chew toys, when he wants to play. I have him drop it in my hand when he brings it to me, otherwise he drops it on me, or sets it on whatever's next to me.
