Once I am down to the last handful I toss the bag - 13 lb size - on the floor and let Charlie go at the leftovers. Usually no more then a handful, but it is pretty dang funny watching him walk around the kitchen when this big dog food bag swallowing him up to his shoulders.

Once he has eaten all the leftovers he proceeds to lick the inside of the bag clean of any leftovers.

It's pretty fun to watch. Plus once he is inside the bag "as much as possible" I have to pull the bag off his head.

Then he races to my couch to throws himself down and starts rubbing his head, shoulders, etc., all over the covers - which is why they are there to keep dog slobber and left over bits of dry dog food off the actual couch.

Glad I only do this once a month. Plus he's gained weight and his nose at one end and his back legs at the other end of the couch, pretty much means he has it covered 100%.

Now he is sedated from his handful of dry dog food and his physical workout!
