"Half-Orc!" The Swordsman turned towards Bruno, "I hope you have nothing more explosive below than those caskets of black powder. Because if you do, we're going to go up like a Roman candle long before we can get out of here." "AH-SHUDDUP!! DROW!" Bruno shouted from the bridge, "One more outburst like that and I'll personally feed you to the monster!" "Try it!" Irzen snapped back at Bruno, "And I'll make sure you end up in the monster's maw first!" "I don't suppose anyone has a fan to put the fire out or water to douse it," Neven mentioned to no one in particular, "Because WE ARE on fire here!" "You don't fan fire unless you want it to grow, kid!" The elementalist corrected the thief as she headed down into the hold, "I'll take care of the fire issue!" Now down in the hold, the elementalist stretched out her arms. Focused on the flames, she drew the element into herself and efficiently snuffed out the fire. She felt strange though as if something within her energy like battery was charging up to full power. Emerging from down below to the deck once more the elementalist looked at everyone, "You need to combine all of your weapons or abilities into one focused burst. Either for attack or escape. Decide now." "Quake, a burst of speed would be good. If we can get behind the wall of ranged guns on those airships, we can make a fighting retreat of it." As if hearing Roberts' words, the ships unleashed a continuous barrage of fire on Venger. Shot after shot making contact with him, sending him reeling. The monster cut loose with an angry roar that sounded like a blood thirsty lion on a rampage. "A fighting retreat would be the best tactical move right now!" Irzen readied his weapon, "I vote for using our weapons to increase our speed." "Sounds like a winner to me!" Neven added as he removed his cloak, "I'll vote for anything that'll get us away from here." "Ditto! Serna nodded in agreement as she prepped her weapon, "You've got my vote." "Stay and fight or turn and flee," War Scribe half-muttered to herself as she wrote, "Why don't someone just die already. I miss Death!" |
