"You know I'm always ready for a fight," The Swordsman replied, "Even moreso ready to travel to one. I'm ready to leave whenever you are."
"Quake is with my uncle at the moment, Irzen. She chose to go on her own and I will not summon her unless its absolutely necessary. Mermidon was hanging out with Trokar the last time I knew, and Dragolem vanished after we defeated the Legion of Evil. Furthermore, isn't there anyone you know that owes you a favor?" Alyson rolled her eyes at him as the party was starting to leave with the ranger leading.
"In the Underdark? Yes! I have more than a few friends that I can call upon for favors," The Swordsman replied honestly, "In this part of the Realm? No! We are nowhere near Yarfell or Stormhaven or Deeping Dale where I could call upon some of our old friends to help us out."
"Good! We leave now," The Prince pointed northward as he led the party onward, "The ridgeline is this way. Let us make haste."
The Swordsman caught up to The Prince, "I'll take the lead, Willow, besides I have the map."
"Then I'll watch your back and keep an eye out for any more interlopers or my kin," The Prince replied before he spoke to everyone, "We shall maintain the same travelling formation we had upon our arrival. Everyone stay safe and stay alert. We are going to be walking on a game trail so expect predator and prey alike while we traverse it.
The party left the well camouflaged outpost and began their trek along the Ridge Line pass. The view was breath taking to the west and to the east across the entire Southern Valley. The air was cold, crisp, and slightly windy at the higher altitude but manageable. Alyson was able to provide a elemental shield around the entire group to stave off the cold. While Lazheros scanned the area for any large threats such as trolls and owlbears that were native to the Ridge Line. Two hours passed with no encounters until the party reached the part of the pass that went between a rocky ravine. The wind had died down to an eerie calm and everyone felt like they were being watched. In the distance, Irzen heard a cry for help from someone as well as the sounds of goblins.
