"Thanks, Caliaphy!" Serna raced onward to help Willow.
The elementalist ran up and over the ledge to help Serna up, "Take my hand, Serna! Nice job, Caliaphy!"
"No body messes with my best friend!" The fairy declared proudly.
Serna eagerly took Alyson's hand, "Wow! Caliaphy, I'm your BEST friend?! I know we are friends but I never knew you were my BEST friend!"
When Irzen saw Alyson and Caliaphy helping Serna, the Swordsman turned about and charged towards the Goblins playing the war drums. His intent was to cut them down and silence them for good.
Willow landed upon the rocky slope to the rear of the charging Goblins and slid down towards Alyson, Serna and Caliaphy coming to a stop right before them. "They're going to turnabout and charge at us in a few minutes. Are you all ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be, Willow," Serna activated her shield, "I can stand my ground with the best of them."
"Uh-huh!" Caliaphy said stoically posing like Supergirl with her wings flowing in the wind like a cape.
The elementalist stepped in front of them, "Willow get them back up on the ridge. That fireball I sent into this area five minutes ago caused a chain reaction. Irzen didn't see it but I did. This whole area is prone to rock slides, and the vibration just made it worse. So, unless you want to buried alive, stay near Lazheros, and I got the captives out too."
"Tell Irzen and let him know," The Prince ushered both Serna and Caliaphy back towards the ridge line, "Come on you two, we've done enough damage here for one day."
Dragolem speared the ettin in the back causing it to fall forward right into the pool of acid. The screams of pain from the creature echoed all throughout the narrow ravine. The sound of falling rocks from above started coming down crushing anyone near the cave entrance. The draconian jumped out of the way of a boulder that hit and rolled over another two goblins before it stopped completely. Spreading his wings he took off and grabbed the swordsman just before another rock of considerable size came tumbling down on him.
"Whoa! What the hell?!" Irzen looked around to see the giant boulder crashing into the space where he was standing and the ensuing rockslide, "Hey! Thanks for the save, Dragolem!"
Dragolem set the swordsman down and landed up on a higher point away from the bronze man. He wanted no part of angering a true dragon in their midst.
"Next time survey your surroundings, Irzen before you call in a strike like that. Not very tactical on your part, it could of have been a blunder instead." The elementalist said juggling some pebbles. "But hey all that mattered was the enemies were defeated and the captives freed."
"Forgive me, Alyson," Irzen smiled coyly, "I'm not half the geologist that you are, but maybe I will be when I grow up."
At this point Lazheros had finished up healing the four dwarves and walked over to Alyson and Irzen arguing again, "She has a very good point, Lord Irzen. Perhaps looking before leaping may benefit you in the future." He turned to the ranger now, "I believe these are the dwarves that went missing, or at least some of them when the horde hit the valley."
