"TOO LATE!" Caliaphy screeched as the fire bomb went off taking out half of the goblins and knocking the Ettin prone.

"Well, go and kill things, swordsman!" The elementalist hissed at him. "I wouldn't wait too long because from where I'm looking that ettin is pretty pissed off now.

"Thanks!" Irzen sprang into action as he charged forward to cut down the remaining ten goblins.

"Wait for me!" Serna cried as she ran forward activating her shield, "YYYYAAAHHHH!!"

The remaining goblins grabbed their weapons and beat their war drums louder. The ettin roared in frustration from being blinded and stunned by the fire ball.

Irzen waded into the staggered Goblins with his sword and lopped off the heads of two Goblins with one stroke.

Without a moment's hesitation, Prince Willow quickly nocked an arrow and drilled the Ettin in the right eye with one of his deadly shafts.

For her part, Serna executed one of her trademark shield bashes against two more Goblins and sent them flying backward to the ground unconscious.

The ettin rolled over and pulled out the arrow. The other head looked up at the ranger snarling in rage, "KILL ELF ON RIDGE!"

Willow Bark cut loose with another arrow and took out the left eye on the same head he had just struck.

The war drums called out ten more goblins that avoided the swordsman and shield maiden and came at Willow. Their natural spider climb ability made it easy for ones with spears to charge the ranger. "KILL THE ELF! BIG BOSS SAYS TO KILL ELF! SO WE KILL THE ELF!"

The Bronze Man put a shield spell on the ranger to improve his armor for a bit and hit the closest one in front of Willow with a guiding bolt. The goblin dropped immediately but it didn't deter the others from advancing.

Willow saw the nine Goblins heading towards him and switched his target drilling the nearest Goblin to him with an arrow in its left eye.

From inside the cave three more goblins came flying out and collapsed on the ground dead. Out came the black-shadow draconian, Dragolem. He gave the swordsman a toothy grin as he caught another mid air and snapped its neck like a twig. "Took you long enough, swordsman!"

"What can I say, Dragolem, I've always been late for dinner but I've never been late for a party!" Irzen smiled from ear to ear, "Take your pick! You want the Goblins closing on Willow or the half-blind Ettin? Serna and I will take your sloppy seconds but choose now!"

The black-shadow draconian tripped up three more with a tail sweep and followed through with a body slam. The goblins did not get back up.

"Dragolem! You're back! YAY!" Serna leaped for joy, "Boy, do we need your help! Can you help us?"

Dragolem growled menacingly at the shield maiden, "This is a grownup fight! Get lost! Go and help out the ranger!"

"EEEP!" Serna jumped back a step at Dragolem's menace, "Okay! I'm going!" The Shield Maiden ran towards Willow's position.

"Dragolem, take care of the rest of the Goblins and the Ettin!" Irzen commanded as he raced after the Shield Maiden, "Serna, wait! You need someone to watch your back!" As the Swordsman closed with Serna, Irzen sliced through three other Goblins that tried to get between them without even breaking a step.

"The kid can take care of herself, Irzen," The draconian spat acid on the ground in front of the ettin just before it took a step.

The ettin having enough of being target practice for the ranger picked up a boulder and threw directly at him. It crushed some of the goblins as it rolled up and over the ridge on direct collision course with Willow.

The Prince saw the boulder coming at him, pulled three arrows from his quiver, nocked them and charged towards the boulder heading his way. Willow leaped upward, landed upon the boulder, launched himself off of the boulder as it went by, turned in mid-air and fired all three of his arrows into the heads of three Goblins before he landed upon the ground behind the attacking Goblins who were now running in the wrong direction.

Alyson felt like a fifth wheel and found a spot to watch the battle from a safe distance. ~ Gee...I feel like chopped liver here! Do this, do that! Hmph! This isn't even his home turf and he acts like he knows what he's doing! Oh, well I guess I will go and get those people out of there before the mountain side collapses.~

The elementalist looked briefly at Lazheros before she sank into the granite stone and popped up behind the prisoners, who were a group of dwarves tightly bound together. She pulled out her knife and cut the ropes, when one of them turned around to see who was freeing them.

Alyson held up a single finger, "Shhhh. My friends are keeping the ettin and goblins busy."

When the dwarves were freed she gave them their weapons. "You can't stay here. The cave is about to collapse but I can get you out."

Reluctantly the group of four dwarves agreed. They had enough of being used as punching bags by the goblins. The elementalist placed a hand on them and they were teleported outside on the path behind the bronze man.

"Well done, Alyson. Now go and help your friends. I will provide heals to these fine men." The bronze man pulled out his holy symbol.

Caliaphy gasped and collected her courage by flying over to Serna just as a goblin was trying to cut her off. "Oh no you, you mean green ugly fiend!" The fairy zapped the goblin with a shot of fairy dust and immediately dropped its weapon and started skipping around acting all goofy.

"Thanks, Caliaphy!" Serna raced onward to help Willow.

The elementalist ran up and over the ledge to help Serna up, "Take my hand, Serna! Nice job, Caliaphy!"

"No body messes with my best friend!" The fairy declared proudly.

Serna eagerly took Alyson's hand, "Wow! Caliaphy, I'm your BEST friend?! I know we are friends but I never knew you were my BEST friend!"

When Irzen saw Alyson and Caliaphy helping Serna, the Swordsman turned about and charged towards the Goblins playing the war drums. His intent was to cut them down and silence them for good.

Willow landed upon the rocky slope to the rear of the charging Goblins and slid down towards Alyson, Serna and Caliaphy coming to a stop right before them. "They're going to turnabout and charge at us in a few minutes. Are you all ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be, Willow," Serna activated her shield, "I can stand my ground with the best of them."
