I think? I may be wrong. It was the Cleveland Browns that were 1st called "the cardiac kids". Back in the year Ahmad Rashad side stepped into the end zone for that infamous Viking W. Maybe it was coined as a nickname by another team before then? Or maybe its my failing memory once again conflating 1+ 1 into 39. Ha! Who knows. IDK if it matters. But yeah. King of cardiac. Great call schlepp! This years Vikings especially. The only game I recall that felt like a blowout by halftime- and ended a blowout. Was that ugly Rams game. It seems so long ago- but i think the houston game was one we were able to relax through the 4th quarter. But thats about it. 2 out of 15- just a game. All the others could be charged as manslaughter(for stroked out viking fans) It is a big credit to the coaching staff. That this edition of the vikings is so resilient. They seem to be able to move on from "bad"- right away. Faster & more often than any team ive ever watched. At this point. How can they not believe in themselves- the brotherhood of this specific roster. Whatever the final outcome. Its been a great & fun year for us fans. For the players- i hope they take it to february & get the win. We have watched a ton of deserving viking squads- never get that last big win on Super Sunday. At this point. TBH. Idk that matters to me, as a fan, any longer. Im sure to all you other viking fans it still does. As well, for all y'all- same wish for you. Get it done for all the former & current players. For all the fans. So many gave so much over the years. Bill browns concussions- EJ's knee. So many now gimps we rooted for with our bloodlust. So many deserved rings. In my waning years. Its them i think of. Somebody- someday. Gotta get one in the trophy case for the many remembered & forgotten viking warriors. Their supporters. Now laying at repose in Valhalla. Me? My wish has been accomplished. The week 18 matchup for the marbles. Hopefully, the perps get the w. Still. W or L. Its been a great season. One of my favorites of all time. One for the ages. Valhalla '24.👍 Side note- IDK if i havent been watching closely? But I hadnt noticed before. Jayden Daniels has the quickest release ive seen Since Marino was young. Hes got some growing up to do, as it pertains to becoming a qb. But if he stays healthy & hungry. Hes going to set records- maybe break the ones Lamar will eventually hold. Meanwhile. Game 2 of Penix. He looks to be the real deal as well. I remember some old fart saying. The 2024 draft would go down in history as the greatest qb draft ever. Lol, Does Darnold count as a redshirt -Darn-Old-man - draft pick? He should. The teams he played on prior to 2023 likely couldnt beat the ncaa champions of the given year. Ha- i digress. JJ McCarthy has much "Tough act to follow" ahead of him. Be it Darnold or his draft classmates. Good luck kid! I'm not smart assin. Seriously. JJ, I pray for your own personal success. The best landing spot in that '23 draft has turned into a stacked deck and an upcurrent swim. It feels like no matter what- keep sam/sam leaves- JJ is gonna be toting baggage many miles. Its such an unforgiving business, eh. Back to biz on tap.... Somebody send flores a cage, a whip & a few of those 4 legged wooden stools! ?feature=shared SIT!!! UP!!! UP! - - KNEE CAP M-FER! |
