My favorite red beer recipe... A milk cratw full of snow. Push a koolaid pitcher/ plastic 2 qt pitcher down into the crate. Take off top of pitcher & add- 1 #2 can hunts tomato sauce. 1 6 oz jar of bleu cheese stuffed olives incl brine. 1 lime, peeled & quartered. 1 bottle (5th) simirnoff vodka. Strap milk crate to back of snow machine. Drive like a crazed lunatic to stir. After riding for a half hour minimum. Pull off to side of trail with friends. Break out some tall glasses, add a short slug of worstershire to each glass, top off glasses with red mixture in koolaid pitcher, add salt/ pepper to taste... Hand a beer to the light weights... Lol ✌️... I never been a fan of red beer. However, the thickness of tomato sauce, instead of tomato juice, makes for a dam tasty bloody mary. Bloody Mary snow machine runs were a Big Lake Alaska tradition. On new years day, the bars on the lake joined together for a bloody mary event. Each bar trying to create the best BM. Some of those concoctions became more of an alcohol laced ciopino than a drink. Filled with shrimp, king crab, Halibut cheeks. I cant imagine red beer & halibut cheeks. Big lake new years snowmachine rally was dame fun times. Remarkably. No humans( i know of) were ever injured/killed... But i did hear, years later after i had left ak. That the state troopers cracked down hard on the event bc of dui ski-do concerns. |
