We just had a resident flock of Chukkars move into our back yard. I'm right on the edge of town on two acres not nearly as remote as you sound. You'll like this, I just started the winter vacuuming of my lawn. I have so much deer scat that the grandkids can't go out side as they'd be skating on the stuff. So every year I vacuum the lawn. Easier than trying to shovel it. The past two years we've had Moose in our yard but we had a very mild winter so no sightings. I've never seen a wolf in the wild but some idiot to the north of us ran one over with a snowmobile, brought it to the bar, taped it's mouth shut, and tied it up in the corner. Was taking pictures, kissing it, and just being an idiot. Left it like that for hours and then shot it. Maybe you read about it in the news. He got a very small fine as wolves are not protected as a predator. He got a lot of bad press. Just drove by that bar last weekend and saw the big trump flag hanging.
