I doubt however he lasts that long.
Everything I'm hearing is- there's 12-15 blue chip 1st rounders. And the 4 ohio state defenders are on that list.
After those 15 are off the board. The grades on the next 30-40 are very similar.
At 18. The vikings need to find the 2nd tier player that's hungry. Feels dissed, got something to prove. I think that 2nd tier group is defense heavy. 2 lbers... Jake Golday, Cincinnati. & Anthony Hill Jr might be the pick. I'm not enamored with the safeties, mainly bc of how Flores uses safeties. The traditional cover 2 college safety isn't really a scheme fit in the Flores safety/lber tweener system. Caleb Downs, who many say is a can't miss free safety. Might not fit in the Flores scheme.
There's 3 safeties that are big, project into the middle rounds Singleton/ Nebraska, Wheatley/ Penn st, & Smith/Az.
I think, the pick will be the Toledo safety.
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. 40 time at the combine probably drops him into 2nd round. But his size has to be keeping him high on the Viking board.
6-4 205, ran 4.52. good in run support and pass d. Good hands can bring down int's in those contested ball moments.
Zeurleins take-

I'd rather wait and go after Wheatley or Singleton.
But. The size. The neck in the dude. The downhill ability. The Toledo kid just smells of Flores player.
