Safety seems the likliest pick.

Thieneman could be the pick. He ran far better (4.35) than the toledo prospect (4.52)
The duck is a notch better in coverage, the toledo kid a bit more physical. Both are rated to have mental ability to fit into whatever scheme.

That 4.35 speed- its not difficult to imagine doing that harry smith thing- crowd the line pre snap and the dart back into coverage.

I still like schlepps pick best. The vikings have a good history of turning later round guys into a stud safety. Not such a good record grooming dt's. Itd be nice to have that 330-350 Jerry Ball blob anchoring the run D.

The viking need both, db's & front 7 run stuffing... Possibly a center. Probably a rb & te. I wouldnt be surprised if the grab another guard, depending on how the tackle/ guard tweeners go off the board.

Lol, about the only 3 positions they should not draft this year are wr, qb & pk.
I want to see Miles Price & Tai Felton get their shot to play this year. Felton was drafted too high to not be given a chance. And Price popped as a special talent in the return game. Why keep them if not to give them the oportunity to make plays!
