Ironically. The perfect play yesterday from Brooks Lee. The runner was safe. Still a nice play from Sir Tristan*, but not quite perfect as hes forced to 1st bring his arm back in order to put something on the throw. It cost maybe a tenth of a second. But the throw is in time by the width of a mosquito wing and the runner is out.
Its a fine example of great fielding not showing up on the stat sheet. Dont be confused. Gray still made a heckuva play. Especially considering its only his 2nd start of the year @ 2b. I doubt keaschall makes that play. Ive seen him make such plays even worse by attempting ill advised throws that font appear to be in his repretoire.
