Can't believe we're one month from the start of another training camp. I don't know where the time goes. Sure hope we can catch lightning in a bottle one of these years so I can finally see my last team win a championship. It comes with age, but the older I get the less fulfilling that championship will be. Should be the other way around, but the older I get the more I lose interest in sports and try to focus on other things. If the Cubs had won the World Series 30 years ago when I was in my partying days, I would've partied like it's 1999!! But instead, I enjoyed it for a day or so, then everything seemed to shift back to normal again. I was reading your post about the bad tooth....oh man....I'm just now going through something similar. Had a root canal 3 weeks ago and have had 2 rounds of antibiotics. Going to see a periodontist today after seeing an endodontist for the root canal. Sucks to get old, but it beats the alternative I guess!!

I'm really high on our coaching staff. They've got their work cut out for them because we haven't had a solid draft in YEARS. Trying to plug holes in free agency with expensive fill ins, just isn't a recipe for success in the NFL. After every coaching/front office purge, I'm always hopeful that this is the combination it takes to win it all. Time will tell, but most of us on here don't have too much of that left!!
