I just heard, read somewhere. We are our most intelligent when we are a preteen. Sponge minds with natural curiosity.

Well, hearing that kinda shook me. I grew up. Around so many friends 5,10,20 even 40 years my senior. My curiousity outpaced my peers. I wanted the knowledge and answer that outpaced my physical age. Nothing pleased me more when I overheard a much older relative or acquaintance talking to one of my parents, " that Danny is a remarkable boy. He engages knowledgably on topics that I never heard from a 10 year old"...
I think precocious is the correct word lady is what I'd be thinking. But pleased nonetheless ..

Yet, my point. I loved Mr Ridgers as a very lil boy, but I graduated to Tom lear around 3rd grade. That quite the cynical influence on lil boy me. Probably not a good influence. But this song really struck a chord... I found Tom Lear clever, inciteful & very funny. My parents owned his lp. I played it often.
