Yes, my Monthly energy bill has just about doubled in 3 years despite using less energy. With the new scheme , the low paid and low paid pensioners will get a better deal. I do manage bills very well so i can always pay. Lucky i had a really good Government pension scheme.
When the price of retail goods went up at quite a rate, i was able to claw some money back by having a car which does almost double the mpg of the last one.
