Yes, after what seems like years but is in fact just two months (probably the longest I've ever contemplated what to buy next) after despatching the R100ST its place has been taken.

I think it might have been Chazzy who said that the definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome so: mad I am (mind you, I'm running out of options for buying something I've not had before) and madness has been enacted today.

After much chat, thanks Nigel B and Mad Mike, I've sidestepped the enticements of Enfield Classics (it's still available though and still calling to me) and Notruns too - never had a Notrun and that was very, very difficult to resist. Instead, I've come 'home' as it were to my favourite big single - AJS. When it arrived I started it: first kick and then it sat ticking over. This is what we like to hear.
