Last week, I made my apologies for missing 2 imminent birthdays, the first a 70th 100 miles away, the second, a 50th, just 30 miles away, but both involving dark rides each way on twisties with no room for error when dazzled.
Being blinded by these stupid lights in the wet is even worse.
Have you noticed the increasing number of badly aligned super-bright headlamps? My MOT garage owner says it's illegally upgraded lamps - he sees them swapping them back for the MOT.
Then there's the usual 1 in 10 or 1 in 15 vehicles with 1 light out. 2 people locally have told me it's too expensive to have the front of the car dismantled to change the lamp unit with up to 3 hours labour and at least £500 in parts. They are waiting until they get stopped & will then scrap the car!
