Another factor you didn't mention was that Stellantis delivered a near 2 year backlog of base vehicles to the manufacturers in the early Summer. These were then converted & pushed out to the dealers before the end of the model year.

Most of the large dealers have been saying for months that they are not buying in SH stock due to their being overstocked with new vans. I have my annual warranty service done in August at Camper UK in Lincoln (my local supplying dealer had dropped my franchise due to their inability to deliver new models following Covid & for the warranty to be validated the service had to be done by a franchised dealer) and the place was rammed with new stock - difficult to find a place on their plot to park while I went into reception.

I was tentatively thinking about giving up the MH after 14 years to do something different but, given the market conditions, have decided to keep it for at least another year - booked the ferry for another tour next year yesterday.
