We were blessed to have met Nena and Richard when we bought their home high on the Mariposa hillside 12 years ago. They both became great friends and we looked forward to catching up as we returned each year. Apache helped us extensively as he brought his artistic talent to changes in our Casa over the years and, of course, he continued to explore other forms of art such as the masks we all enjoyed at Aztec. I spoke with Richard a few weeks ago and he was reflective on his life and accepting as only this thoughtful man could be.
Our thoughts and love are with Nena, Karen and Herardo and the family at this very sad time.
