David, maybe not foreign tourism so much, but for definite it has affected national tourism. I know of at least 2 bus loads of Tapatios who have cancelled their stay in Melaque this Christmas. That is around 90 people who will not be spending here, and Mexicans spend well during their holidays here on the coast. And those are only 2 I know of and can confirm, i would guess there are lots more.

And I agree with all the scaremongering posts, they are not necessary.
