Questions for my fellow softball community Archived Message

I have some question to ask my fellow local softball community. I know it’s a long shot on this board to have any sort of honest/intelligent conversation, but I am going to give it a shot.

1 to 10 how knowledgeable are you when it comes to local, state and national politics?

If you had to vote for the next president of the United States tomorrow, who would you vote for and why?

Liberals oppose racism and sexism. Yet they fully support affirmative action, which awards people for being of a certain color, or gender, while penalizing members of other races or genders. Why is this?

Why is it okay to kill unborn children but wrong to kill convicted murderers?

Do you believe all Americans should have an equal opportunity to succeed or fail based on their individual ability, intellect and work ethic? Or, do you believe all Americans should have equal outcomes regardless of their ability, intellect or work ethic, and the government should redistribute the wealth of those who succeed to those who don’t in order to level the playing field?

If a person can’t afford a cell phone do you think it is the responsibility of the government and the taxpayers to supply and pay for the phone? (why/why not?)

Should fast food workers get $15 an hour? (why/why not?)

Should a person have to pass a drug test to be on and stay on welfare?

Do you think everyone in this country has the same chance at success when born?
