I'm sure my favorite haters will be on here blasting me for this but it needs to be clear up a bit:
Based on your record and the strength of Conference the "AA" division was created. This means that almost all A teams became AA. More than 2/3 of the B teams became A, all the Conference C teams became B.
So last years C is this years B. That said there are plenty of talented C players who could make the transition to a Conference team if/when they get the chance. Problem is there are only so many sponsors to go around so many talented players remain in B/C when they belong in the Conference.
Then there is the problem of moving up. In previous years your reward for playing up was no place to play...or simply being forced to drop down again to find a place to play.
This year the objectives for USSSA have changed. In order to encourage teams to move up and promote the growth of the B and C programs more tournament directors are creating opportunities for these teams by allowing B teams in.
It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction to building the B and C programs back up to where they belong.
