crowd way more people in the pits at $35 a head &
100$ per car. IF the track could run (I think the
county shut it down) it would have run a few shows since 93 but it hasn't. However the place has faced other compitition before. Amarillo had a paved track in the mid to late 70's that burried the hastings ave track. It had been closed when Carthall aquired it
