I don't like the idea of high points to the back or “fast cars” to the back at all. In my eyes this leads to on track carnage and good cars either being torn up by people that can't hold a car straight or tearing up cars because they have to hurry to the front and don't have time to pass you as cleanly as they can. From the fans side of the fence I can see the attraction for inverted starts, more wrecks more action. From a drivers point why not start in the spot you earned, pill draw for the heat and start the winners of the heats in front, let the "fast" cars race it out and everyone can race next to cars they can compete with. Then everyone is racing the whole race, instead of getting torn up going forward or backwards. Racing has changed so much since the old days, people do not have the same respect for equipment that they used to have, weather it’s mine or theirs is irrelevant and people tear it up anyway. Just my opinion…
