Last saturday we had 19...x mods.
Several regulars,couldn't make it due to various reasons.
...none of which were "carnage" related.
As for your friend who's had to rebuild his car twice,if it's who I think it is(pretty sure it is,loaned him some stuff)the first crash,he spun on his own in turn 1,1st lapof the feature guys had no place to go&his car got hurt bad...kinda his fault.
2nd. Incedent guy moved up the track to avoid a spinning car,he was in the wrong place at the wrong time got crashed...bad deal.
The guy went over to apoligize,but your friend was still a little hot...I feel bad cuz your buddy's a good guy/solid racer.
I don't deny there's been carnage.
But,the thing is...there's been an influx of new racers getting into the class.
Getting cars set up&dialed in has been a major factor in torn up race cars.
Problem with newbies is...
You don't know,what you don't know.
Cruces&El Paso are having the same type growing pains because of all the newb's.
A lot of these guys have started asking for help,and EVERYONE that I know is/has been more than willing to help get cars more driveable....all you gotta do is ask.
It's cool...every guy in the X mod class is willing to help everone else...you don't see that very often.
Lotta good guys..in this class.
One kinda crybaby...but every division has one&he's no longer running with us...so.
I hope you do get decide to get an X mod...it's a great class,good guys...and they're a blast on a budget.
