Don, God if only the current totalitarian regime in place would allow drivers to help with anything you just said, a driver may not have purchased land to build his own track. It is not VCS's fault if the current facility fails or fails to pull cars, this is just another place for all of us that have don't wish to compete there (for all the reasons you just stated) to be able to race. A need was seen from more than one side, there are a lot of fans alienated from a $15 admission and $2 parking fee in ABQ. Los Lunas is full of people unwilling to drive the distance for those prices; now they barely leave town!
