Joe, Motiva wouldn't allow Late Models to have a race or to join the program for a few races because they can't muster more than six cars and six cars is not a race, no attempt has been made by the track to try either, Late model drivers were trying to put this together. Bottom line if a certain promoter (who still has a big NAPA Speedway sign is their front yard curb side of Hwy 47) wasn't backed by a winged sprint driver, I don't think we would be seeing either of them at the track on a regular basis. Funny how that works...
