MaryL, Hot broth can be a lifesaver while SSing. Just hot in a mug, especially now that the weather is colder, well...it's just delightful! I get the low sodium because it can be loaded otherwise, but it doesn't need all that salt. Especially when you are SSing and so much of your diet is on the sweeter side. I used it in my soups too.
I'm sure you still practiced limitations today, even if you weren't strictly SS. That's progress so yes, onward and downward!
