Dhing (nick name) was a force of nature! She was a tiny thing, but a powerhouse! She lived here in the USA since she was 20 yrs old, but never lost her thick accent and loved to tell the most outrageous stories of her youth. Like my sweet Filipino daughter in law, Elaine, she made me laugh to tears.
Our hearts are broken. It's been a rough couple of days. I just got back from dropping Andy at the airport so he can go stay with his brother for a week.
Anyway...sorry to unload here. You never know what life has in store. Or when we may say good-by to a loved one for the last time. This was in the front of my mind as I said good-by to Andy. I'm tracking his flight just to keep me from worrying.
Thanks for listening.
