My husband and I have been naturally doing time restricted eating for almost 2 yrs, keeping mostly to an 18/6 window, and it is perfect for us. We typically eat around 10am and then again around 3 or 4. 2 meals a day. We are extremely low carb and have no need for snacking. It works great for us.
If you find your weight loss stalling, my suggestion would be to adjust sources of sugars, including fruits and grains, to keep those insulin spikes down. It seems to work well with the goals of IF, especially those of us metabolically challenged. We are a nation of insulin resistant, metabolically messed up people due to the standard carbohydrate heavy American diet. Keep going! You're on a good sustainable path!
