I'm into the 80s Posted by Yvonne on 5/3/2018, 10:42 am Okay, folks, today is 89 days to see some results on my plump derrière. My physical therapist said I could try to walk a bit. So I did!!! I walked a quarter-way round the park. It took me three times as long to do it, but I did it. My right knee was a little bothersome with some aching, but no pain! I slurped my shake before hitting the park and I am good. Each day is a new opportunity to do better. Take care!

I always ask this question first, "What did they have to work with?" While watching episodes of "My 600 Pound Life", my husband can at times get very opinionated about the people on there. He's never personally dealt with that kind of obesity so I can't judge him either. It's an opportunity to share with him my experience as an obese person. So yes, to quote Maya Angelou,“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” Wise words.

Not that everyone is just having a bad day, or has had a troubled life. Yes, some people are just jerks. But, also another teachable moment. We are not their judge. And what they are doing or not doing, we can not let that define who we are, or for it to steal our joy. Ever come across a jerk driver? Yep, gotta choose, will I let that ruin my day. Ummmm, sometimes a split second. LOL
